  2. Wow! There is so much to see and enjoy here. I love the looseness of the drawing, the beautiful use of color and the encouragement to just do it without fear of messing up. I wish we could see more of the paint that is used and how you have your space set up to paint. Do you always know what colors you are going to use and set them out, or do you grab what you want as you go along. As an untrained artist-in-the-making, I'm not always sure of where I could best start or how to set things up.
    thanks!

  3. Hello again. I prepared my watercolor paper and taped it to a foam core board. What a great idea! I then drew my self portrait as a big, white cat wearing a tiara and diamond bracelet, inspired by a birthday card I got this week. I LOVE cats, so this is a perfect selfie. And, she is wearing an apron. I always wear an apron when I am home.Cats are independent ( I so admire that!), they sleep a lot ( I love naps!)and oh, to touch their fur....luxury! I added a moon for inner messages and guidance, flowers for the fragility and return of life, a mouse for temptation and a caterpillar for the possibilities of the unknown.
Now, I don't have a clue as to where to start. Background of blends of blues for sky and greens-yellows for grass, I guess, but ... oh my goodness I am afraid of every tube of paint I have here. Is craft paint "good enough", shall I use my creamy Liquitex, or go all in with some thick and sometimes difficult Golden acrylic.
Should I be emaiing you or is this the place for interaction???
